The material presented here is a detailed version of a Peccot course given at the Collège de France in May 2015, based on joint work with Arthur-César Le Bras.
The aim of the course is to explain a proof of the Breuil–Strauch conjecture, which provides a particularly elegant geometric realisation of the p-adic local Langlands correspondence for GL2(Qp) in the coherent cohomology of the Drinfeld tower.
The methods used to achieve this are quite varied: (Phi,Gamma)-modules, p-adic Hodge theory, p-adic functional analysis, automorphic forms, cohomology of Shimura curves, p-adic differential equations, etc. They draw very largely on the monumental work of Breuil, Colmez and Emerton, which made it possible to understand the completed cohomology of the tower of modular curves.
Gabriel Dospinescu
A former student of the ÉNS and holder of the agrégation in mathematics, he completed his doctorate at the École Polytechnique under the supervision of P. Colmez and G. Chenevier, with a thesis on Actions infinitésimales dans la correspondance de Langlands locale p-adique.
In 2012 he became agrégé préparateur at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon. He is currently a CNRS research scientist (chargé de recherche) at the ÉNS de Lyon, in the UMPA laboratory (UMR 5669).
His interests lie in p-adic Galois representations and their links (still very largely conjectural) with representations of p-adic Lie groups.
